Owner and operator of Bell Construction & Contracting, Josh Bell, has a passion for building which developed early in his childhood. Josh’s wide skill set and knowledge, allow him to take on and tackle whatever residential project you might have in mind. Keep reading to learn more…

Josh has experience working in residential, commercial, and industrial construction. His first job as a painter when he was 11, started the paved path that led him towards the trades after high school. With a Red Seal certificate in Reinforcing Ironworking, Josh has completed 6000+ hours of Structural Ironworking. A highlight of his career was being dropped off in the middle of the BC mountains by a helicopter with lumber and tools to set up gold exploration camps.

Tired of flying away all the time, Josh has settled into working on residential construction projects. With a passion for engaging with homeowners, Josh enjoys bringing people’s visions to life. With a newfound love for crafting smaller living spaces, Josh completed his first tiny home prototype in 2024.

Raised in Cobourg, Josh now lives on 12 acres in Colborne. With a love for adventure, Josh has travelled all over the world, where he enjoyed hiking mountains, scuba diving with sharks, and sitting on sun-kissed beaches. Josh and his girlfriend are now working on the old home they have purchased to start a family and start a flower farm. In his spare time, Josh enjoys reading a good book, playing sports, and hanging out with friends and family.
